Harty Mechanical, Inc. was established in 1979 primarily as a Plumbing, Heating and Air service
contractor. We have now grown in to a diversified mechanical contracting company.

Union membership
Harty Mechanical, Inc. is a Minnesota union contracting corporation, currently employing twenty
technicians whom belong to the Rochester Plumbers and Fitters Local #6, Mankato Plumbers Local
#561 and Sheet Metal Contractors Union Local #10.

Training
Our service technicians receiver training in various areas including: computer training, DDC
controls, pneumatic controls, boilers, rooftop units, low and medium temperature refrigeration.

Our construction apprentices receive training in plumbing code and installation, welding,
mathematics, high-pressure piping (ammonia and steam), safety procedures, plan review and drafting.
We also specialty train our technicians for the installation, maintenance and repair of geothermal
heating and cooling systems.

We believe that continuing education is very important. We send our technicians through continuing
educations courses regularly to maintain and expand their abilities. We feel our technicians are
properly trained for any mechanical system.
