The customer had noted the inability to keep a load center within the desired temperature range. Upon investigation we identified the existing Energy Recovery Unit with gas fired heat and without DX cooling.

The Energy Recovery Unit was designed to only use outside air to cool in warmer months but could use the gas fired heat to maintain temperatures in the colder months.  With the existing unit not able to cool in the warmer months, it was proposed to replace with a standard 7.5-ton Rooftop Unit.

Many times, systems are designed for a different application than what is required.  We try to work with the customer to find the best piece of equipment designed for the application.
